Last Saturday morning, recovering from the first show at the Villa Marcello in Cison di Valmarino (see below), the “Americani” — an American cover band led by our friend and blogmaster Jeremy Parzen — visited the Bele Casel winery.

After their tour of the winemaking facility and our vineyards, we headed together to the Locanda Baggio in Asolo for an amazing lunch.
First course was a lightly breaded and fried poached egg served over a purée of Bassano white asparagus and a purée of fresh spring peas (above).
