There are days when you wake up in the sleepy town of Caerano di San Marco (Treviso province) and you wonder where those bottles of Prosecco will land once they reach their final destination.
We were thrilled to learn that Bele Casel has found its way to Monarch Bay in beautiful Dana Point, California (not far from where our blogmaster grew up), at one of the best restaurants in the Golden State: Celebrity Chef Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern at the St. Regis.
Beloved sommelier and author Rajat Parr oversees the wine programs at Chef Mina’s restaurants and we couldn’t be more thrilled to discover that our wines are included on one of his lists.
Well, actually, we could be more thrilled: not only is it included, but it’s also featured among the “secrets of the sommeliers.”
“This page,” write the authors of the list, “reflects some of the wines our sommelier is excited to drink himself and wanted to share with you. These wines are representatives of both classic and innovative expressions to delight you and your guests with a tremendous quality to price ratio.”
So, as we rest our head tonight in our tiny little village, we’ll sleep a little easier knowing that our wines are being enjoyed by shores of the Pacific Ocean, at one of the best restaurants in the U.S. today.
