Having grown up in San Diego, I’m always excited to see my fellow San Diegan wine lovers expand their wine loving horizons with new and groovy wines.
I took the above photo, btw, week before last standing in front of my mom’s apartment building at the Cove in La Jolla, about 20 minutes from downtown San Diego.
So I was thrilled to find out that The Wine Pub in Point Loma is now pouring Bele Casel by-the-glass.
Here’s their tasting note for the wine: “Citrus flowers, almond with a creamy texture.”
The Wine Pub is located on Shelter Island Dr. on America’s Cup Harbor, one of the most picturesque vistas in town.
I can’t think of a better wine to pour by the glass and by the sea in my beloved hometown. It aligns perfectly with San Diego style…
