What a thrill for us to learnt that Bele Casel Prosecco Extra Dry is being poured by-the-glass at one of the most famous and beloved restaurants in Los Angeles, the Water Grill.
Southern California rivals Venice for the high caliber and quality of fresh seafood. And the Water Grill, for twenty-five years, has been the region’s seafood temple. It’s just one of those places that struck a chord with local diners since the day it opened.
“Water Grill remains the standard-bearer,” wrote restaurant critc Besha Rodell for the LA Weekly in 2013 in a review of the restaurant’s new outpost in Santa Monica (the original is in Downtown Los Angeles). “Last year its look and menu were updated to attract a younger clientele, but its pedigree went unchanged. The restaurant also can claim the distinction of being a spawning ground for fish-obsessed cooks — both Fishing With Dynamite’s David LeFevre and Connie & Ted’s Michael Cimarusti were chefs there before striking out on their own.”
We can’t think of a better place to pair our wine than this truly excellent restaurant.
