We had a wonderful experience with Paola at Bele Casel! We dropped in on a stormy Tuesday afternoon and she kindly accommodated us (even though we did not make an appointment- you should definitely call ahead!). She told us all about the history of her family and how the winery came about. The wine was superb and the setting was gorgeous and homey! To top it off we met Pablo the dog along with cats Luna and Oscar! I highly recommend visiting this place. Thank you again Paola!read more

What an amazing experience. Paola's english is great and she gave us a wonderful tour. My wife and I were so impressed by this families pride and enthusiasm in their product. They bring you into their home for the tasting and by the end you feel like part of the family. The Prosecco alone was worth the trip but the hospitality shown to us really put it over the top. I cannot say enough about the wine or the wonderful people who make it. If you have the opportunity to go it is more than worth your time. Thanks again for everything and we can't wait to come back!read more

Bele Casale completely knocked me off my feet. I am a bit of a novice in tasting and understanding the science behind prosecco (*real* prosecco)-- and Paula was there to answer all of our questions. The processes completely blew my mind-- they use two methods: 1) fermenting in bottle (the traditional way) and 2) also in larger batches that most of us are much more familiar. I am beyond impressed with the labor of love and work that goes into making Bele Casale prosecco. Paula shares their family's story and describes the work that goes into each bottle. The tour included grape/wine storage, fermenting process, bottling (they bottle and label themselves), and ends with the tasting in the family's dining room. I am kicking myself for not buying a bottle or three of the prosecco that was fermented in the bottle (colfundo)-- it was such a lovely and unique prosecco, I would have loved to share with friends back home in the States. My boyfriend and I bought a bottle and later opened it in our last night in Italy after a 6 week trip; it was the perfect end to a perfect trip. Make a reservation and go to Bele Casale. Get off the beaten path of huge wineries and enjoy this family winery.read more

Excellent, friendly and very informative tour of the winery and tasting of four delicious and distinctive Prosecco wines. So enjoyed our time with Paula who was very accommodating when we showed up without a booking, and happily explained the whole process of making the wine, from start to finish. This is a great family business, everything is done by them and is organic. They even accomodate a local bee keepers bee hives (save the bees!!!). We were very impressed with their sustainable and thoughtful approach with their business. Highly recommend!! Call ahead to arrange a tour!! read more
